2018 Annual Sandi Paws Pet & People Parade

Dear Valued Member of Our Community:

I would like to bring to your attention, “The Paws-N-Claws Foundation”, a non-profit organization. Its mission is to promote pet adoption and reduce pet euthanasia.  We are requesting your participation in the Annual Sandi Paws Pet & People Parade.  The event is held the second Saturday in September each year.  Your involvement would help highlight the importance of pet adoption and the elimination of pet euthanasia and make a difference for our pets on the Treasure Coast. Our fundraising efforts to-date have saved the lives of many beautiful puppies and adult dogs. All of whom now have new families.

Paws-N-Claws is hosting the “5th Annual Sandi Paws Pet & People Parade” on Saturday, September 8th, 2018, from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at the Marina Square in downtown Ft. Pierce. This fun filled day for our families and pets will include activities, music, food, pet vendors, a pet parade, doggie fashion show, and much more. Thousands of people and hundreds of dogs are expected to attend.

Another highlight of this event will be the celebration honoring and remembering our 9/11 Patriots, Wounded Warriors, Purple Heart, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion members, as well as our Armed Forces, Fire Fighters, and Law Enforcement. We take great pride in honoring the brave men and women who sacrifice for our Country.  If there is someone special you would like to see honored please forward their name along with a brief explanation as to why.

We need your support. It is through the generous efforts of individuals like you that numerous foundations are aided.  We are extremely grateful for your participation and caring spirit that has aided us in our ability to reach out to those in need.  Please join us in Ft. Pierce’s 5th Annual Sandi Paws Pet & People Parade. Participation is available on the following levels:

  • a sponsor, promoting and/or participating in the 5th Annual Sandi Paws Pet & People Parade,
  • a vendor, promoting your products and/or services at the event,
  • a volunteer, working with the Paw-n-Claws organization to make the event a “great” success.

Monetary proceeds will benefit the following organizations:

  • Camp Corral – Camp Corral transforms the lives of children of wounded, injured, ill, and fallen military heroes by providing a unique summer camp experience.
  • Pet Adoption services, Pet Food Pantry, and Pet Toy Collection.

Vendor Application & Agreement

Along with this application, application fees must be received no later than September 7th, 2018. If paying with a check or money order, please make payable to Paws-n-Claws Foundation. Online payments using PayPal also accepted.

  1. Promotion and advertising will be handled by the event committee.
  2. Vendors must begin set-up at 1:00 pm on the parade date and must maintain booth coverage throughout the event hours.     Vendor parking is provided.
  3. This is an outdoor activity. Please come prepared for various weather conditions – No rain dates.
  4. Vendor space will be 10′ x 10′. Vendor fees – see below.

Electricity is limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.  An additional $10.00 will be charged for electricity. 

  1. Each vendor will be responsible for the collection and payment of and State and Federal Taxes.
  2. Food vendors will be responsible for all applicable licenses and insurance information required to be on hand     at the event. At application, please provide your Hotel and Restaurant License Number and a copy of your insurance.
  3. No vendor shall sell water …… The event committee reserves the right to sell these products.
  4. Each vendor will be responsible for cleaning up their own booth space and for the removal of all waste products including grease.  Failure to comply will result in a fine being imposed upon said vendor.
  5. Food vendors will be limited to a pre-approved menu unless otherwise approved by the event chairperson. Exclusivity of food items will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Electricity is also available on a limited, 1st come 1st server basis.
